Church History

New Beginning Spirit-Filled Ministry was birthed, established, and Incorporated on November 25, 1997 under the leadership of our Senior Pastor, Bishop Clifford L. Haltiwanger. The first official location for worship services was held at the Monetta Community Center, Monetta, SC, where the foundation for the New Beginning Officials were appointed. After about six months, ministry began to grow and expand which led us on May, 1998 to our second location at the Coleman Auditorium, Johnston, SC. After two years of continuous growth, we began seeking God for a more spacious facility to house the different phases of The Vison for New Beginning. In March of 2001, God led us to 504 Calhoun Street under the lease of Ms. Bess Constance, Johnston, SC.

During the years of ministry establishment, God has granted us unmerited favor to purchase and paid in full: five acres of commercial front interstate property in Aiken County, SC, a forty passenger bus, and numerous of upgrades and expansions.  On March 17, 2017, God once again granted us ownership favor to possess our location.  We are now owners 504-506 Calhoun Street.   While believing God for our final future home for The New Beginning Spirit-Filled Ministry, we have positioned ourselves so God’s work can continue to enlarge.
